Applications on the prescribed forms (attached with the College Prospectus) should reach the college office on or before June 30, 2016. Candidates are required to submit the following documents along with their application form:
Self attested copies of certificates of examinations passed and statement of marks of the said examinations.
Students seeking admission to B.Sc. Home Science and B.Sc. Fashion Designing - Semester I should attach the self attested copies of both +1 and +2 certificates to verify
whether they belong to Chandigarh quota or outstation quota.
Students seeking admission to M.Sc. and P.G. Diploma should attach the self attested copies of detailed marks certificates (DMCs) of B.Sc. - I, II and III along with the copies of certificates stated in (ii). Any form submitted without the self attested copies shall be rejected forthwith.
Self attested copy of birth certificate.
Character certificate from the Principal of the School/College last attended.
Medical fitness certificate.
Students from other Universities/Boards are required to submit a migration certificate.
Reserve category candidates are required to attach the relevant certificate.
Students who have passed their lower qualifying examination prior to March/April 2016 must submit an affidavit for the gap year(s).
Admission to all the courses will be made strictly on the basis of merit. No weightage will be given to the candidates for Honours at the graduate level.
All admissions will be made on provisional basis subject to approval by the Panjab University.
Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Home Science Semester-III/V, B.Sc.(Fashion Designing)Semester-III/V, M.Sc. (Foods and Nutrition, Clothing and Textiles and Human
Development and Family Relations) Semester-III will be considered as fresh candidates. They are required to apply afresh both for college and hostel admissions.
Incomplete Admission Forms will not be entertained.
The applicants must fill the forms in their own handwriting.
Original certificates and testimonials must be submitted at the time of counselling.
Separate admission forms, complete in all respects, should be submitted for different P.G. Courses, if the candidate is applying for more than one course.
Admission forms can be deposited during office hours in the college office i.e. 8 A.M. to 2 P.M. on all working days except Saturdays, Sundays and public/gazette holidays.
No compartment cases will be considered for admission. If there is compartment case, it will be entertained only if compartment clearance result is attached with the application form.
The college/hostel does not have any provision for the treatment of any chronic or serious illness. Any candidate having any such illness shall seek admission at her own risk.
